              ICT

I am fortunate to have worked in a classroom with a class set of iPads/iPods so have firsthand knowledge of integrating these devices into all learning areas.

I incorporated iPads/iPods into my lessons so learners could use them in such activities as: researching on the internet, viewing the school on Google Maps, Timed Reading, Spelling Apps, Maths Apps, a still camera, a video camera, a voice recording device, a mobile assessment device (Socrative), a whiteboard, a note taking device and to create a multimodal text – to name just a few!

My future goal is to start a classroom blog using the edublogs website to share our classroom learning with parents, family, friends and connect with other school children worldwide.

I have started my own blog, "Mrs Skipper" on Edublogs, that will be reflections on my own teaching journey, and in particular using picture books within the classroom.

Apps for Bloom's Taxonomy by Kathy Schrock.

Students love the iPad in class.

Edublogs is the most trusted and popular blogging platform for classrooms, as recommended by the Education Department.
